PROJECT OVERVIEW
Baja Carports designed and constructed a non-solar box beam carport system for Bethany Home Retirement Facility. The project provides shaded, protected parking for residents, staff, and visitors while improving overall site comfort and usability. The structure was engineered to blend into the existing campus environment while delivering long-term durability and low-maintenance performance.
THE CHALLENGE
The facility required a high-capacity covered storage solution capable of accommodating large recreational vehicles and boats while maintaining easy circulation and maximizing storage density. Given the Southwest Florida environment, the structure also needed to withstand: High wind loads (hurricane exposure conditions), heavy sun and UV exposure, and seasonal storm activity and rainfall.
THE Solution
Baja Carports engineered and installed over 130,000 square feet of steel canopy structures designed specifically for large-vehicle storage. The result is a purpose-built storage environment that protects vehicles while optimizing land use.
