Baja Carports delivered a solar canopy system for the Fisher Rigel Parking Garage in Las Vegas, Nevada, integrating renewable energy generation into an existing parking structure. The project converts underutilized parking infrastructure into a productive energy asset while supporting on-site power demand. The installation demonstrates how structured parking facilities can be upgraded to improve energy efficiency and sustainability without expanding the building footprint.
THE CHALLENGE
The facility required a solution that would reduce grid electricity consumption and improve sustainability performance. It needed to utilize existing parking infrastructure without expansion. The system had to maintain full parking functionality during and after installation. It also had to withstand high desert heat and environmental conditions.
THE Solution
Baja Carports engineered and installed a solar-integrated system designed for parking structure application. The system overlays or integrates photovoltaic generation into the garage structure, enabling on-site renewable energy production without disrupting parking operations.
