Originally from Malabon, Philippines, Irick developed an early interest in construction by watching projects take shape at a young age. He later moved to Sacramento at the age of 10, where that curiosity grew into a career in engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Sacramento, is an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), and is currently working toward his Professional Engineer (PE) license. Irick leads drafting efforts by coordinating with internal teams and external engineers, mentoring staff, and maintaining high drafting standards across all deliverables. He supports structural design and construction projects from concept through completion, specializing in the preparation and review of engineering calculations, plans, and specifications. Known for his ability to solve complex structural challenges, Irick brings a fast turnaround mindset and a sharp attention to detail—often catching critical issues before they become costly problems in the field. He interned at Morton & Pitalo, Inc., gaining experience in land development and civil engineering design, and also worked at In-N-Out Burger during college, where he built a strong work ethic and learned to thrive in fast-paced environments. Outside of work, Irick stays active through the gym, volleyball, swimming, golfing, and hiking—and is always on the lookout for new food spots to try.
