Rey is focused on delivering exceptional service that reduces customer churn and strengthens both profitability and customer retention, guided by the belief that “exceptional customer service is the most sustainable marketing strategy.”

With a career spanning the Philippines, Japan, Canada, and the US, he brings a rare breadth of hands-on experience across construction, engineering, and steel detailing. In the Philippines, Rey spent five years in construction as a cost estimator, draftsman, civil engineer, and site inspector, and also taught for two years as a college instructor. He then spent seven years in Japan working in construction as a cost estimator, surveyor, civil engineer, and draftsman, followed by five years in Canada as a steel detailer and draftsman. For more than a decade in the US, he has worked in steel detailing, first as a manager and eventually as the owner of his own steel detailing company.

Rey holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Adamson University in the Philippines and studied steel detailing at Vancouver Community College in Canada. Outside of work, he’s an avid sports enthusiast who plays tennis or hits the gym on weekdays, and runs, hikes, or bikes on the weekends. Rey calls Newark, CA home, and is passionate about giving back, supporting Feed the Hungry in the Philippines twice a year and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
